The 1961 Topeka Reds -Three-I League Pennant winner in 1961 with a 79-50 record.  Team Member Honors included:  League MVP, Manager of the Year, Leaders in Runs Scored and RBI's.  The Cincinnati Reds' Farm Club produced eight future major leaguers (one manager and seven players).


Jay Sutton - President of the Topeka Seven-Up Bottling Company who was well-known as an avid, generous supporter of youth and other amateur baseball in Topeka.  For years, he financially sponsored a team in almost every youth baseball league in the city.

Also sponsored the Topeka 7-Up Reds.
